Terms & Conditions
Short stay and weekend bookings are welcome during the winter months, otherwise the cottages are booked weekly from Saturday afternoon until the following Saturday morning for Forgemill Cottage and from Friday afternoon until the following Friday morning for Anvil and Waterwheel.
Please contact the owner in the first instance and upon acceptance of a booking a deposit is requested of 30% of the cost of the holiday.
A receipt will be sent, showing the balance which is payable 6 weeks before the holiday date.
Energy is metered and charged accordingly.
All cottages are personally maintained by the owner.
Guests shall keep all furniture, fixtures and fittings and effects in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the holiday, and shall leave the cottage in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found.
Cancellation
If unforseen circumstances mean you have to cancel your holiday within 6 weeks of the commencement, the full cost, less any deposit paid, will be payable.
Should we be able to re-let the cottage, this charge would be waived.
We always recommend that a holiday insurance policy be taken out to cover this eventuality.
